My 3 year old WordPress blog suddenly crashed. Not able to perform any action.

    I would request a support team member to please look into this issue as it is a complete different bug that I have encountered after using wordpress since its launch.

    I am afraid that due to some reason my blog, that I had loved so much could no longer be viewed, logged into, changed and it has suddenly become so as if it never existed. Here is what happened.

    Just like any other day I went to my website at https://www.siddharthrajsoni.com – A basic HTML Page (outside the wordpress directory) shows up.

    I clicked on the link to my blog saying “Read my Journey” (Which is at https://www.siddharthrajsoni.com/wordpress directory) and this is exactly what appeared. It should have been my blog using the “Dear Diary” theme by Dean J Robinson. I was traumatized… ??

    After so many hours of battling up with what could have happened, I am unable to understand the whole thing. I tried to log in at /wp-login.php and this is what showed up:

    I am feeling almost handicapped as I can’t even log into my wordpress to check what could have happened. But because all HTML Pages (although there was only one) outside the wordpress directory are viewable, I do not suspect any problem at my server’s side. The issue is something serious within the WordPress core.

    Your help would always be a subject of gratitude.

    Apparently you have an issue with your WP-cache plugin.

    I would disable the plugin (by renaming its folder) and clear the /wp-content/cache/ directory.

    Thanks man. It worked. It was not as big as a problem as I thought it would be. Thanks again.

    I have the exact same error messages now, after everything working just fine for months previously. Unfortunately, however, I can’t find a WP-cache plugin anywhere, and there is no /cache/ subdirectory in /wp-content.

    I am using the Woo Gazette theme (which shows up under the wp-content directory), and it does have an images/cache subdirectory full of pics. Is this my equivalent of the cache you talked about above?

    And I don’t know what to do about the WP-cache plugin. I can’t find it anywhere.

    It should be in wp-content->plugins
