mutli domain shop

Multisite with mapped domains is the easy part.

The hard part is sharing the content for the warehouses :/ Multisite uses separate data tables for each blog.

It really depends on how you need to integrate and share data. I think this is something that could be done on WP, but that wouldn’t be my first choice unless you have a real DB guru on staff to write a custom plugin that pulls the data to all sites.

Theory:

The ‘stock’ is handled by the network admin. They add what can be added. All this is on one set of tables in the DB, for the whole network (kind of like user info – wp_storeitems and wp_storeitemsmeta)

Each ‘store’ selects what items in the stock they provide (so you dont’ sell illegal things ?? ). This stock culls the data from that network DB we came up with before, and checks things like ‘how many are left’. Thus every site gets the same amount.

When someone makes an order, it updates the storemeta information and triggers whatever else needs doing.
