    Hi

    I’m enjoying your plugin

    I wrote about six months ago to turn the social icons off my FAQ items

    I unchecked FAQ under Social Settings > Inline buttons

    It works for the Home Page page and media but not for FAQ items

    I only have page and posts checked

    When editing an individual FAQ item, in the Social Snap Option “Display Social Buttons” is turned off, however the buttons display.

    At the bottom of the majority of my pages, there is FAQ within an accordion widget.

    It is not a big problem. It just looks a little strange to have the share buttons with the FAQ that may be short.

    Hello Kim,

    Thank you for the feedback.

    I checked what’s going on on the page you heed help with.

    That page you sent is actually a regular WordPress page, not a FAQ singular page. The option in Social Snap Settings refers to singular FAQ page and if you check out one of them you’ll see that the share buttons are not appearing: https://allenvisioninc.com/faq/use-the-results/

    To disable the share buttons on the page you sent, go to Edit Page (you have to be logged in to do this) and turn off the “Display Social Buttons” option. You can do this for every page where you have a FAQ shortcode/module.

    Sorry I wasn’t clear.

    The problematic FAQS occur when the appear using the [fat sortcode by category]

    As noted above at the bottom of each page I have FAQ in an Accordian widget using the FAQ shortcode. The FAQ you had above appears on the page https://allenvisioninc.com/internal-audit-team/ — GO to the bottom on open FAQ then open the first item

    Is there a better way to get the FAQ by category so this doesn’t happen? I’m guessing your icons think the expanded FAQ is part of the page.

    Hello Kim,

    Thank you for explaining the problem in more detail.

    This is happening because the theme is not using the native WordPress the_content function, it handles the content in a different fashion.

    You can solve this issue with a bit of custom CSS code:

    .hb-accordion-single .ss-inline-share-wrapper { display: none }

    Add this code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
