Thanks for the suggestion — I will pass it on to the dev team.

I can’t promise that every suggestion we get will make it into a release, or when it might be if it does, but every suggestion we get is evaluated carefully and considered seriously. We value the input we get from our customers. A member of our dev team may or may not reach out to you here to ask for more detail.

In the meantime, you might not want to try this on production sites yet. There might be other features that are not working, which may not be obvious at first. I also am not sure if you will get notices when Wordfence is out of date, or if the automatic updates would work, if you have that enabled in your Wordfence options.

    Hi!

I’d just like to add our vote for this feature. Also understand how complex a seemingly simple thing like this can turn out though. As web security is such an important thing for ourselves and clients, it makes a lot of sense to have a great plugin like Wordfence included in the must use list.

    Thanks
    Dave
