  • I’ve ran into the same problem.

    1. A normal expects to be in the wp-content/plugins
    2. In the /mu-plugins directory every PHP file is executed.
    3. There’s no update for mu plugins!

You can write a simple loader for a normal plugin or
    use this mu-plugin:

    Hi Viktor,
this is not the case. I mean, I know how to run a plugin that is using a folder (and not just a single file) in the mu-plugins and how to update it through a script.
    Thanks for your time.

What I was asking is if Sucuri is known to work properly.
However I can see that the authors don’t take too serious the Support and I believe I may switch for a different solution.

I have no idea if the plugin works in that directory, maybe it does I have not tried. Can you give it a try and report back the issues that you encounter? I have limited time to work on the plugin so I can not check this by myself as the official support is for the default installation path, but if you come back with a report of specific things that do not work when the plugin is in that directory then I may check them and fix them as soon as I can.

I will mark this as resolved, feel free to reopen if you have more information to share or simply create new tickets per every bug you find or something like that.
