• Hi,

Working on implementing Featured Posts plug-in for a sub-directory blog. The theme used is Atahualpa Theme.

Manually mkdir mu-plugins in wp-content. Installed Featured Posts plug-in as given in installation notes. There after log in page is not displayed. Unless copied files are deleted the log in won’t appear. After deleting it is restored.

Can anybody throw some light on this?

    Thank you,
    With regards,
    Hsehdar

Not all plugins work in mu-plugins. If they require site-specific tables to be created on activation, then the only way to use them is to activate them on each site, manually.

That said, WHICH featured post plugin? There are a few ??

Read the error logs. ?? A blank white page means errors.

Thank you to both of you.

I read below reply of Andrea in of the issues and could get what it means.

No, 3.0 deals with them exactly the same way WPMU dealt with them.

Put the *files* in mu-plugin. Not the folders.

They will not show up under the Plugins list to be activated, becasue they already are.

If you go to the plguins page, look for the “must use” link. Is it there? Then the files are in the right and running. If not, you did it wrong.
