If you want Force Login to be always-on, no need to enable via admin and users cannot disable by accident, then adding it to the /mu-plugins directory is the best way to do that.

That sounds good. I think I’ll have to keep an eye on your updates though. I don’t think it auto updates.

That’s true–?you would need to manually update/replace the Must-Use plugins.

Force Login doesn’t change/update often and you might not need to update it as long as everything is continuing to work without errors. It’s a fairly simple plugin.

If you wanted to enable auto-updates, you could look into hiding Force Login from the installed plugin list.
