I’ve been using your plugin for a long time and have been really happy with it.

Just recently it’s started throwing errors and won’t send emails any more.

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: call_user_func_array(): Argument #1 ($callback) must be a valid callback, function “wpb_sender_email” not found or invalid function name in /home/XXX/domains/YYYY/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:324

There’s a trace as well but it’s a bit too long to post here.

    Hope you can help.

After some research I added my own ‘wpb_sender_email’ in my custom mu code and it worked. No errors and the email was sent as normal. While it’s good to not have the errors I can’t imagine this is a long-term solution.

    Hi @luxinterior,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You should be able to send forms notifications (emails) without a custom mu code.

To solve the issue, I recommend first trying the steps in our guide on troubleshooting form notification emails.

In case the issue continues, please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue.

    I hope this helps!
