Music Pro theme, Can't add title to new posts

  • I have the latest version of wordpress installed,
    and have the music pro theme from themeforest active.
    When I try to add a new post,
    it doesn’t show the space where I write the title.
    I just has the space to write the post only.
    I tried re installing wordpress, the theme
    deactivating all plugins.
    any suggestions?

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

    Hey hwhjryu, is this post a regular blog post of a custom post type? If it is a custom post type, you will need to find where in the theme the custom post type is declared, either in your theme’s functions.php file or a plugin that comes with the theme and add “title” to the “supports” array.

    For more details on that, look up custom post types for WordPress Docs and see if the post type’s “title” is supported. This may most likely be your cause.
