It seems that multivendor checkout doesn’t work. We were under the impression this plugin works together with Dokan for exactly that reason, or is there a technical issue here?

    • I can’t add more than 1 event to my cart. If I have an event in the cart or even product, the minute I add the new ticket(s) it clear the cart ??
    • If I add product to the cart after an event ticket has been added, it is added to the cart, but I can’t checkout as the system tells me this isn’t possible.

Really hope this is a technical issue… as the reason for purchasing this plugin relied heavily on the fact that it was multivendor compatible/capable.

    Hi @maginem,

I hope you’re doing well. Currently, our system does not add tickets from multiple events to the checkout at once. This is to avoid some potential issues with purchase reports and calculations. Also, combining tickets from different vendors or events with other WooCommerce products could cause some reporting difficulties.

That’s why you can only purchase one event’s tickets at a time.

    Hope you get it.

Thanks so much for your understanding.

    Best Regards.

    Hi,

Ok, this unfortunately is a big problem :(. It doesn’t make sense to not be able to purchase multiple tickets for different events in one go. Then Eventin you should make this clear from the get go and also not say that it works with Dokan.
The Dokan integration leads one to believe that Eventin has multivendor capabilities with the assumption being that you could sell tickets from different vendors for different events together with product etc. in one basket.

So bottom line, Eventin actually only works for a single vendor with a single event.

    Hi @maginem ,

I apologize if there was any misunderstanding in our previous response. Let me clarify a bit further.

Eventin does indeed support multiple vendors, and each vendor has full control to create, edit, and delete events as expected. However, for users purchasing tickets, it’s currently limited to one event at a time. Additionally, since events are not products, combining event tickets and products in the same cart isn’t possible at that moment.

I’ve discussed this with our developer team, and they’ve assured me they’ll consider this feature for future updates. Please allow us some time for that.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

With regards to not being able to checkout products with an event ticket, I’ve tested and see now that there is a error page that comes up telling the customer that they can’t do this, however that page looks bad and also doesn’t seem to conform to the Divi template for the site.
Is this controlled by Eventin or how could one customise this page?
Here is a screenshot of the broken page: https://jmp.sh/BnM537fD

Is there maybe a way you guys could block or hide the “Proceed to Checkout” option in the cart if an event is in the cart together with another product?

UPDATE: So I now know that one can’t checkout more than 1 event at a time (even when using Eventin together with Dokan). But, the problem is that the multivendor checkout doesn’t seem to work even when I’m adding product to my cart (and no Event) from the multivendor store on my site.

    1. I get this error message: “Sorry, In cart you have products from multiple vendors. Multiple vendor products in same transaction currently not available.”

    2. the styling is broken on my checkout page (I can also see errors in the browser)

If I deactivate Eventin everything works fine again. Surely Eventin should not be blocking me from purchasing multiple product from my multivendor store??

    Hi,

This was one of the first things I checked, the single seller option in Dokan is turned OFF.
I have also sent an email on to your support as well.

Ok, we are checking it. Would you please let us know what is the username on the email? We can’t find you.

One of your agents (Sagor) did respond to my email about this issue, but the response just says I need to disable single seller mode. As mentioned, this is OFF in Dokan. The only way I can purchase PRODUCT ONLY from the multivendor store is by deactivating Eventin :(.

    Hi,
I have replied to your support email. In the next released version, users will be able to purchase multiple products from multiple vendors. The purchasing multiple event feature is under development, and we will also work on that as you suggested. Feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.
