• Hi
New to wordpress and building a multisite of sub-directories to cater for the 2 different languages of the clients I’m targeting. Just wanted to know if I should change the language of the wordpress dashboard/install of each respective language (with mo file) or is it fine to use my computer’s keyboard input on the standard wordpress english template for all associated languages. Specifically, is it better for SEO to have the dashboard in each language (or any other benefit for that matter)?
    Thanks
    Nima

The dashboard language will have no effect on SEO at all. I’m not sure about another benefits, but mostly, I think the dashboard language is for the ease of users (admins, editors) who will use it.

You might find this article about setting up a multilingual network helpful, and there are some other multilingual network resources at that site.

Super! Thanks so much, Bet! I had previously looked at another wplang article similar to the one you linked, however, it was not nearly as detailed. Cheers!
