Do you mean add the file to the meta box, it shouldn’t insert anything into the post. I could use some more info on what is not working.

Check it out for yourself, try adding a attachment to the lesson. You can log in with the following information:

It seems to be working fine I added a few attachments to the Document Attachment Test. What browser/OS are you running it on? Also can you add attachments to the post/pages try that and let me know if there is an issue it would more than likely be a JavaScript conflict with another plugin/theme so if you can check out the debug console and send any errors you see.

I can add them but you can’t see it in the post. Did you check the page that you added them to, to see if they were there? I don’t see them. I am on Safari btw.

It does not add them to the post if you want a list of all the attachments you can use this shortcode [wpba-attachment-list]. If you want them added to the post in a different way you have to click the add media button and select/upload the file you want in the post then click insert into post. The primary use of the plugin is not to insert the attachments into posts since WordPress already has this functionality. However it does not have a good structure of dealing with files attached to posts which is what I am trying to solve. I like to use it mainly for building custom sliders without having to create custom post types or any other way but there are many other uses as well. Sorry for the confusion, if you have any more issues please let me know if not please mark as resolved, thanks.

Working now! So happy. Do you know if its possible to make it so the short code is added to the post every time? So that way I don’t have to keep typing it. Thanks! – Brashell

The best way to do that would be with a custom page template and you can use wpba_attachment_list() in the template and it will make the same list as the shortcode
