Multisite with one media library

Hello!

I am making a WordPress multilingual multisite. There will be 3 languages with the urls example.com/en, /fr, /de. There will be different contents on different languages, so this is why I have chosen the multisite architecture. The site will have massive amounts of picture galleries (I would like to use NextGen Gallery for the image galleries, but if there is some other plugin which works better in this situation, I am open to any suggestions). My concern is, because there will be 3 languages and for all languages the images and galleries will be the same, it would be reasonable to store them in one place for all 3 sites, and not to upload the same images to 3 different places on the server.
Is it possible to merge the 3 site’s media library to one place? It is not a problem if the images can be uploaded only from one site, the important thing is the ability to link them from all 3 sites.
