Multisite Validiation not working

    Hi,
    I installed shortpixel today on my multisite installation. Main page setup worked fine. But when I switched to another site, I can not validate Short Pixel to use it. Neither can I add a Key, the field is greyed and let me nothing type inside.
    It says, API Key defined in wp-conf.php. But, there is none. I also tried to add manually the code provided in the faq, but that crashes my wordpress site totally with a php error.

    So – how can I get Shortpixel working on my multisite installation?
