Multisite user capabilities

  • I have a client who is requesting basically three different themes from one theme company to be used on a site – an auction theme, a job posting theme, and a project posting theme. I want to know what the best way would be to allow users to have one account across all themes? for example a user to be able to list auctions and keep up with them while also post projects and be able to do it all with the same login. I am assuming multi – site would be best for this? May seem silly i realize but i just want to know what I am getting into before I agree to work with them on this. Thanks

  • once you set up a user on one site that user is in the network. Then you go to each of the other sites and add a user, there is the option to add an existing user.

    Also if you go to users under the network dashboard it shows what sites each user as access to.
