Multisite – use segment or filters for individual sites instead of properties?

  • I have a multisite with more sites than I am allowed to have properties for on my Google Analytics account (max properties is 50: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1102152?hl=en#analytics_accounts). So instead of using properties, I would like to use either segments or filters based on the site domains. Which I understand that I can setup on Google Analytics, but how can I have the dashboard widget display the data for those individual sites using those segments or filters I setup instead of using properties?
