MultiSite Unique Username/Email

    Hi! I have a wordpress multisite where 1st site is open to all users and 2nd site is limited to licensed users. The 1st site is not using UM for registration / login whereas 2nd site is using UM.

    The issue currently I have is, one of my user has created an account in the 1st site, now he wants to create an account in 2nd site as well using the same email address. But the error message says “the email entered is incorrect” . I am assuming the UM checks the username/email to be unique, however I want to enable the users to create account in both the sites using same username / email. Is there an option for this ?

    Note: Upon registering, I am assigning different user roles to site1 and site2

    Sorry for the late answer.

    Unfortunately, you can only add a user from the admin panel with “Add Existing User”.
