Multisite Theme Names

  • I recently had a problem with theme names for two multisites I’m planning to build. The new theme was named differently however when I tried to upload and install it, it kept trying to overwrite the existing theme. It took the team at Astra several days to figure out the problem. When creating child themes, it’s important to use the advanced option and add a folder name from field at the bottom. It was an oddball problem but everything seems to be fine now. Thanks to the team for figuring it out and including a helpful video.

    A couple of days later they helped me out with another problem that was due to an oversight on my end. The team is always very polite and gracious in their replies.
