  • As it is right now, one of the verification mechanisms is making sure the domain matches up appropriately as specified in the LaunchKey dashboard. So having multiple domains for a single config may not work. Having the admin login for multiple sites hosted at a single domain could probably be made to work.

I’ll try to get a better answer for you.

Well I have a sub-domain install of WordPress Multisite with domain mapping.

So that means the main site (And login) would be: example.com
Then domain mapping would redirect for CDSSO (Cross-Domain Single Sign On) to the subsite’s subdomain: xxx.example.com
Then each site has its domain: anothersite.com

So either I will need to create an app for all of those (I have a network of 8 sites, times that by 2 for each of their domains, I would need 17 apps including the main site) domains. Or LaunchKey could add in the ability to allow a web-app authenticate from multiple domains.

Currently to have a single LaunchKey app on multiple subdomains you could handle it by making your OAuth domain in the LaunchKey dashboard *.yourdomain.tld which opens it up to accept any subdomain on yourdomain.tld.

As for multiple domains, we’ll have to mull over that for a bit.

    Alrighty! Thanks!

    This isn’t resolved.

Nope, not yet. It will be soon and I’ll update this thread then.

We pushed an update. You can now put a comma delimited set of domains in the dashboard that you can allow for a single app (under OAuth). We’ll update the documentation on this new feature as well.

I don’t see any changes on GitHub or WordPress’s plugin repo for an update for the plugin. The problem with the plugin under multisite is it doesn’t have global settings (Under network admin). Also, be sure that there is support for mapped domains in WordPress multisite.
