• Hello,
I hope someone can help me with my prolonged issue (3 weeks). Below is what I have done so far:
    1. Installed wordpress using Windows Web Platform Installer on my Windows 2008 R2 server successfully. created my intranet site.
    2. Successfully created 3 subsites so far, and I’m able to click on “visit site”, and the site opens, but when I select the dashboard for my subsites I get error 404.0 directory not found.
    3. As a workaround I created a folder under wwwroot with my subsite name and copied the wp files and directories into it, and I was successfully able to open the dashboard, but I know this isn’t the way to use subsites. This workaround does affect the way themes and plugins work.

Any help would be beyond greatly appreciated,

    Ricardo

I’m not familiar with how this would work as an intranet, so I don’t know how helpful I will be…

If you were on an Apache server, I’d suggest talking to your host about Allow Override, or to try putting this in your .htaccess at the very top:
    AllowOverride All
