Multisite Subfolders Question
-
My boss has asked me to post on here in the hopes that you might be able to help us. This was the first time, for everyone, using WordPress or any CMS for that matter. We created the site knowing we would need at least 3 separate websites under the same name, https://www.lc-tech.com. We wanted the LC Tech site to go to a “Portal” page that then went into a “Mac” and “PC” page.
We started creating the “PC” side on an IP address (https://174.141.28.24) then created two subfolders called “Mac” and “Portal” (https://174.141.28.24/mac and https://174.141.28.24/portal) in the hopes of eventually switching the IP address to our current website (www.lc-tech.com). Creating these subfolders allowed us to input different information on these two pages.
Here is the problem we have created: We need the portal page to become https://www.lc-tech.com and have mac/pc become https://www.lc-tech.com/pc and /mac. I have no idea how to go about this since the current IP goes to PC side and the sub folders are Mac/Portal. I tried switching the folders around and it just messed everything up.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
