• Here is my question:

On my network, I have one particular site I am trying to import in which has quite a few customized html and php files in addition the the vanilla WP stuff (lots of pages, posts, plugins etc. etc.)

Is it possible for me to upload these html and php files into the blogs.dir/*Site#* and have them work properly? (Or anywhere for that matter)

I have tried with a few files and they just return 404 errors.

I really hope it is possible to accomplish this?

    Not so much, no.

Can you pull in the HTML as pages in WP, and 301 redirect to them?

It’s the .php that is the bigger issue.

This particular site makes extensive use of a lot of custom .php on top of its WP install.

Perhaps our only option here is to add this site as a cPanel addon domain, transfer ALL their stuff normally through that route.

But then the question becomes, how do we integrate them into our network? (Shared user profiles, posts on their site goes onto our BP activity stream, etc)

    You don’t :/

You can’t turn the php into a plugin?
