Multisite Snippet Updates Fail in v3.4.0

I get status 400 – Bad Request message on multisite for a network-wide snippet e.g. with ID 17 like:
/wp-json/code-snippets/v1/snippets/17
The request sends back:
{“code”:”rest_cannot_update”,”message”:”Cannot update a snippet without a valid ID.”,”data”:{“status”:400}}

This happens since v.3.4.0 – after rolling back to 3.3.0 network-wide errors disappear and everything goes back to normal. No problems so far on single blogs with v3.4.0.
