• Just setup my wp site for Multisite following all of the steps and when you click “visit”, the page url is correct but the page is blank – and there is no error of any kind. The wp-admin for the 2nd or newest site is blank also – i.e, when you click the dashboard link for the sub site, the wp-admin page shows the correct url but the page is blank!

The original site (“site “1”) still works fine though, no issues with that one.

I did everything by the book… Including disabling all plugins prior to starting. The twenty-ten theme is enabled.

There was no .htaccess file in the root directory so i added one along with the code.

    Site is hosted on godaddy.

I setup a third site and got the same outcome. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Here is the site addy… Restoration-Software is the name of the 2nd site.

A blank page is a PHP error.

Did you delete the twenty eleven theme?

    Yeah you did.

    That shouldn’t be a 404.

That’s the default theme, so when you make a new site, by default it uses that.

You are right, i was looking at the twenty ten theme, mistaking it for the twenty eleven theme. I installed the twenty eleven theme and now i can at least see a page when the 2nd site loads. I “network enabled” the twenty-eleven theme but i still can’t see it in the 2nd site’s list of themes… I will keep trying to figure out what the issue is. Thanks for the help sir!!

Don’t worry about not seeing it in the 2nd site’s themes. That list is cached, and sometimes it takes a stupid long time to flush out.

This will improve in 3.5 ??

Okay, once again thanks. I will wait and check back later.

I just checked this morning and still the issue exists. When i load a page from the new site, no theme loads. It just shows unformatted text from the page. The twenty-eleven theme does not show in my themes list. When i click the dashboard link for the new site, i get a 404 error.

Also, i still don’t see a “Super Admin” panel either.

Ok, checked again today and when you click the dashboard for the newest mu site – i get a 404 not found error.

What 404? WordPress theme’d or a server theme?
