Multisite or singel WP for CityDirectories Guide ?

    Hi!

    I’m designing a City Guide Directory for 1 city in Belgium (housing, shopping, services).

    When this site generates a good respons, I plan to create other subdomains for all the cities in Flanders. These sites will be identical (layout, plugins, admin) except for the content.

    I started with a single WP installation.
    But I am hesitating: would you recommend to start with MultiSite instead?

    Or can I switch easily to MultiSite, afterwords when creating multiple cities? city1.mydomain.be & city2.mydomain.be?

  • Multisite would be idealforthis kindof setup but adds to hosting resources required.

    I would setup the initial site and focus on that.You can change to a subdomain based multisite netork in the future when it is required providing your hosting resources will accomodate.

      I have hosting now at one.com, but am not convinced: it loads rather slow. I have to look into that in the future, and check the hosting providers mentioned in www.remarpro.com
