• Hi,
I have a site for a business which has several branches.
Each branch has a url of it’s own within the main website, which is in a sub-directory (not a subdomain).

I want to add the ability to create paid subscriptions for a product in WooCommerce for each branch of the business separately, so that the branch admin will have access only to the users who registered to the branch, while allowing super-admin that will have access to all the users.
I also want to be able to limit branch admin access to other capabilities.

Would you recommend using Multisite – or – a single WordPress site with Role-based access plugin?
Can you shed some light and tell me what the pros and cons of each method, such as Performance, SEO etc.?

    Thanks!

  • Based on the description and the requirement that the users should be separate from each other, I would recommend a multisite. The separation of data should be particularly relevant here. Everything else plays a secondary role, although there is also the advantage that you can manage the individual pages separately – with their own settings, styles, etc.
