Multisite or not? Hostgator

  • Should i do multisite on my wordpress or not? I use hostgator. If i do should i pick subdomains or directories and why?

    gaming.akshayproductions.com my gaming site
    tech.akshayproductions.com my technology site
    If i put both gaming and tech together i would have to much pages and a big navigation menu.
    I am planning to get a big community, so what do you think? Please respond
