• Hello,

We are currently running a web store with WP/woocommerce in europe, and we are starting the project in USA, and the question is what makes more sense..
Use the same store for both markets? probably the worst option due the complexity ( languages, different tax strategies, different prices, catalogs…)

    Multisite…or different site?

what option is the best in your opinion, thinking about implementation and future maintenance?

    Regards,
    MAS

  • I personally would recommend that you create a subdomain for each of them and then link them through Multisite. If you just go with separate sites then it could result in you having endless websites and domain names and nobody would be able to find you.

    Thank you Matthew,

One question, one of the woocommerce stores will be in english and the other one in spanish.
Does just multisite allow different language per domain or path? or do we need to use any plugins like WPML or soemthing like that….not sure.
    Thank you!

WPML would be a good option if you want to translate the stores. If the only reason why you are separating the websites is because you want to translate them then use WPML instead.
