Multisite network and sites – not receiving notifications

  • With the WP version 6.5.5
    and a multisite network

    We set the automatic updates of WP core and some plugins
    but we are not receiving the notification emails of these events,
    while we are normally receiving those notifications in sites with single WP installation (not multisite) on the same server

    We also set the smtp plugin with Brevo smtp configs. These configs are the same ones that are working on single WP installation (not multisite) on the same server

    How could a multisite network notify its upgrades?

  • Here are some others things you can check, if you haven’t yet.

    • The Network Admin email is correct
    • Test if any other notification emails are being sent on the multisite network
    • Check outgoing email log (there are different ways, for example, using WP Mail Logging plugin)

    Just installed the WP Mail Logging plugin and I have understood the reason why we were not receiving those emails.
