Multisite – Max upload file size on site level

I saw an old post about this subject which was closed, but I would like to override the network max upload file size one specific sites. I see how you can override the site diskspace quote, but I have not found a solution for the file upload.

We have some sites that require the need to upload 8MB photos / documents, but some other sites will be lazy with uploading images that should be optimized or not uploaded to the server. So I am left with setting the network Max upload file size to 10MB because of a couple sites when I want to have it at 1MB for the 40+ other sites.

I looked at a couple plugins, but they didn’t address the issue either.
