• So the following scenario… (all plugins deactivated for testing, default 2015 theme activated)

    1. Pixabay Images plugin added to WP Multisite installed, but NOT network activated.
    2. Subsites plugin activated on a few of the sites for testing.
    3. Everything works fine.

    3. Activate plugin on main site receive the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1385

  • This happened to me too. Rather I dig activate it for the network direct after download through the UI. Immediately the fatal error appeared on the network admin pages.

    However, the settings page and the Pixabay search button showed up on the website.

    I could change the setting and search for images.

    But when clicking to use one, I got an error message my user don’t have “edit permissions” to insert the image and thus I hit the wall.

    This is with the current 2.5 version.

    I believe, we’ve found the cause, but not actually seeing the bug on our test system, we cannot confirm it. So, here’s a new version that should work for the network installations. It would be great if somebody could test it:
