Multisite Issues

  • Hi,
    I’m working on multisite project and added many new sites in it. Which are working fine. But I have added a new site and it’s having some errors. Whenever I’m trying to create new page/post it’s showing me warning there “currently you are editing a latest post” with a link of latest post. And if I’m trying to hit publish button it’s throwing 404. While it’s working fine for existing posts.

    Whenever trying to create menu there are all pages post showing disabled. I’m unable to select menus.

    I have changed permalinks. and also checked plugin confliction and other theme settings. But there are some settings missing from subsite dashboard settings and I’m unable to get them. Site health is also good.
    Please check asap.

    Try clearing all browser cookies related to any of the sub-sites, as well as those of the main site. It sounds like WP is getting mixed signals on which site you’re logged into. While in browser settings, clear its cache as well. Also temporarily disable any server side caching you may have in place.

    Another explanation for such behavior is if your site name happens to coincide with a reserved word or even an existing post name. Try making a new site with a slightly different name, preferably not a plain English word or a likely post title.
