Is there anywhere else to get support for this plugin?

No. This is where support for the plugin is located. There is far more than just what you are describing on the installation page.

Please keep in mind that I am one person maintaining this plugin in my spare time between finishing my university thesis, work, and many other obligations. Two posts and an email within 7 hours on the same topic seem a bit excessive…

If the link above does not answer your questions, please let me know and I can work with you to try and find a solution.

PS- Note that this plugin does not change the upload process in any way.

Thanks, Sorry for being ‘excessive’ but I have been jaded by lack of response in other areas and was very frustrated.
So the PS helped a lot.
Originally, I wasn’t able to upload any .doc or .xls documents in my multi-site installation – I was getting this error: Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
After researching that issue, I found a plugin (AP Extended Mime Types) that made it possible to upload these file types.
THEN, the shortcode [dg] worked for this plugin.
Hope this helps someone else. So, again, thank you for your response.

I’m glad to hear that you worked it all out! If you run into any further issues, please feel free to come post again.

I’m marking this post as resolved.
