• I am a newbie when it comes to installing Multisite and I have run into a snag that is making me crazy.

I converted an existing WordPress installation into a multisite. My host is Bluehost. I did the editing/uploading of the htaccess and wp-configf files. Got it all done and seemed to be working just fine from the dashboard end of things.

But then when I go look at my original website I get the message “Greetings Site Administrator! You are currently allowing “none” registrations. To change or disable registration go to your Options page.” None of my links work and my homepage is just this message with my menu and banner up top.

I thought my website would stay the same and I would just have other websites use the subdomains.

But everything is jumbled and I don’t know where I went wrong. (I’ve been over multiple advice sites and am obviously missing something.)k This has been my main helper: https://sproutspire.com/how-to-create-a-wordpress-multisite-on-bluehost/

Hoping this is a no-brainer problem for you with more experience. (Me, feeling of no-brainer quality tonight for sure.)

    TIA!
