My recent experience trying to have a multisite setup with a recommended hosting service (Siteground) was a total disaster. They clearly have a support team that is quick to reply but not truly responsive. So, I canceled my account there after a two days of serious trying on my part

My experiences with InMotion Hosting is just the opposite. I’ve had an account there with a subdomain configuration for more than a year now and couldn’t be more pleased. Their staff is both knowledgeable and responsive and their site delivery is SSD fast!

If it weren’t for my policy of not ever again putting all my sites on one hosting account, I’d have my second and third multisite at InMotion. I’ve found another pretty good host, but they only do subdirectory versions. Put a “catchall” site there and it’s working well after the second week. Still looking for one or two more gems.

I’m trying not to but I’m going to close this topic.

You’re asking for recommendations for hosting besides InMotiion (who you like). It’s good that you are looking to spread out your hosting and that’s a good idea.

But here’s the boiler plate reply for hosting recommendations.

Per the Forum welcome, we close topics like this due to the amount of spam that they attract. The WordPress team has provided a list of a few recommended hosting providers. For more details and other recommendations, please search through the forums or via Google (or your preferred search engine).

Note: By closing this post I neither support nor condemn the use of the servers listed on the www.remarpro.com official hosting page, and encourage you to search around.

Which is why I’m closing this topic.
