Multisite forgot password emails do not work

    I have been running a multisite for about 6 months and initially had serious trouble getting a plugin to send smtp email. Tried many alternatives and found this one worked.

    Now I discover that if a user tries a forgot password recovery the email does not go through and if a new user is generated on a site rather than in network admin the email also does not go through.

    All other emails work including Contact Form 7 in various sites.

    I believed this worked when I set this up but I am not 100% confident it worked then and does not work now.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    For a collection of other reasons I decided to move servers where I no longer was forced into using SMTP so I did not go back an try 1.1.8

    So I am not in a position to conclusively answer. If it would be of significant help I could try it out as I still have the old server set up, but it would be a few days before I could get to it.

    @nilestreet, Thanks for the prompt reply. It’s alright. This is not really an ongoing issue so you don’t need to waste time running tests on the old server. I will just mark it as resolved.
