Multisite Fatal Error: WPML_Redux_Framework_config already in use

  • I get this fatal error:

    Cannot declare class No3x\WPML\Settings\WPML_Redux_Framework_config, because the name is already in use in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wmea/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/src/inc/redux/WPML_Redux_Framework_config.php

    This error only repros with:
    PHP 8.0.x (using 8.0.8 in a local dev environment)
    Wordpress Multisite enabled
    Accessing main network site (not additional sites)
    Running Apache
    Occurs with WP 5.8.3 and 5.9

    If I access a child site in multisite, am not using multisite, or switch to PHP 7.4.x this error does not occur. Disabling other plugins does not remedy.

    I have not tried with a clean WordPress install, but have isolated it to the extent noted above.
