• Maybe I missed a step, but after creating the multisite in the Network admin area and even assigned a theme, but when I choose to visit either the Dashboard or the site itself, the connection times out. I’m not sure how to fix that.

  • Maybe I missed a step,

What steps did you take? Please be as specific and detailed as possible, so we’d be better informed to tell you if you missed a step or not.

Also, please provide the URL of the subsite in question so we can test it and let you know what may be causing the problem.

Went to the Network Admin section, clicked Sites>Add New, filled in the info and hit “Add Site.” It’s listed in the All Sites list, but doesn’t work when I try to access it.

That’s what you’d do to create a subsite.

But WordPress has no “Network Admin” section until you set up Multisite.

So I meant did you do to set up the multisite network, to begin with?

Also, where’s the address I asked for?

I’ll have to give this a look over later. Been ill for the past couple of days while also having other issues with my host, so I want to get that ironed out before looking in depth at this again. I followed a guide at Kintha (sp?) on how to set one up, so perhaps their walkthrough was deficient.

The website I’m trying to set up is awardslandscape.com and I’m pretty sure I followed the instructions on the provided link correctly.

Should there be a index.php in the folder that awardslandscape is pointed at? Should the domain be pointed at the subfolder or the main public_html folder? Do I set it up with my host as a Domain, a Subdomain, or an Addon domain?
