multisite DB backup

    Hi Riu, this is from one of the developers.

    It will work with WP multi-site. It doesn’t have a network admin only dashboard. Each of your network site will have it’s own settings under that site’s admin area.

    It is fair to say from the above that the backup should be carried out from each sites settings under that site’s admin area.

    I don’t have a network installation so I am not sure if you can also carry out a backup from the network admin area for the whole network.

    Now It is good that each subsite can get its DB backup.

    However, In our network with 50 subsites, it is indeed cumbersome to setup and track each backup. So someone in your team who deals with DB backup related scripts – may advise as to how does entire network backup is handled by the plugin.

    I just checked our code, and you should be able to backup the entire main site AND subsite tables if you perform the manual DB backup operaton from the main site “Database Security” menu.

    In future upgrades – it can then be explicitly mentioned there.

    Good so now individual subsite / network; and entire network both can be backed up in this manner.
