• Hello,

    Thanks for the great plug-in by the way.

    I just installed it fresh, and I’m having a problem with the ‘User Login’ panel.

    When I configure the IP lockout on the main site, after X failed attempts, it works!
    But, it doesnt replicate to all the other sites in the multisite, so naturally I inserted the same configurations on one of the other sites and it doesn’t work.

    Additional info:
    mysite.com/wp-login -> ip lockout works after X failed attemps
    mysite.com/multisite-site/wp-login -> ip lockout doesn’t work

    I’m aware about the menu items showing on the main site and not on the other ones on the multisite, that’s not what this is about.

    Any light on the subject?

    Thank you!

    I just a tried a few tests on my multi-site test platform and I can verify that the lockout functionality works fine for the sub-sites.
    Did you make sure to go into the subsite dashboard and then configure the login lockdown items from there?

    Hello!
    Thank you for your reply.

    Yes I made sure I configured it correctly on the subsite.
    In fact, I have the same exact configurations on ‘User Login’ for both my main site and my subsite.

    Additional info:

    1) The ‘display generic error message’, for example, is working on my subsite as intended, just the lockout isn’t working;

    2) I can get IP locked when failing to authenticate on my main site, but can still log into my subsite (same account) while the account is locked on the main site.

    Any further help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Remember, this is fresh installation of plug-in and I only tweaked on the ‘User Login’ panel.

    Could it be some misconfiguration on the multi-site install? Everything is working as intended up untill now. Multi-site wise.

    Try setting the max login attempts to 1 and then try 2 bad attempts.
    What happens when you do that?
