Multisite cart thumbnail issue

    Just wanted to bring an issue to your attention regarding multisite use.

    When adding the configured item to the cart the thumbnail doesn’t generate, but a lot of blank files are added to the media library. These files point to the mkl-pc-config-images folder rather than an actual file.

    Turning off ‘Show configuration image in cart and checkout’ fixes this, but from a user experience point of view it would be nice to be able to activate it.

    Is this a known issue? And do you know if there is a fix?

    Just worked out the issue. Even though I’m using the same images on the multisite as the stage site – and the images in the multisite configurator were loading as expected – the image ids had changed when they were deployed, so replacing the images in the configurator on the multisite fixed it.

    I will leave this post here in case anyone else runs into the same problem.
