Multisite: Can’t add new items on one site

I am very happy with the plugin. But I need support for a new problem since last update: I use the plugin in multisite installation. On the first site everything is working fine. On the second site, everything worked fine too: But since the last update (could be longer ago) I can’t add items for hover effects. The button “Add new hover item” doesn’t exist. What can I do?
