Imported 2013/04/image.png into my subsite Media Library (ML) using this plugin. Previously there was not a 2013 folder in the database for this subsite’s ML

Anyways Imported that one image as a test and I can see it in the ML. But I can’t sort by the date to filter out the other media files. Is this a known issue or should it be displaying?

Hi @sswebdeval, it might depend on which date option you used (“Date/time to set for newly imported files”). So if you selected:

    • “Default” – date would actually be current date (“April 2021” filter) or
    • “File name” – date would be read from the file itself (when it was modified)

So I would suggest trying to find that file in Media Library without the filter (with search or something) and checking what’s the actual date there.

Hope this helps and that I even understood the issue ??

@erolsk8 thank you very much for your response! I don’t think I selected an option for a date at all when doing the import so thank you for explaining this. That’s definitely the issue here. Marking resolved.
