• I need to find out which and how many blogs are hosted in a blog operated by our competition. No worries, I don’t want to pirate the guys blog, it’s all about seo, we both operate on plumbing in spain, and the guy has an incredible success (seo with google, serp), where as we, doing more or less the same thing, aren’t going to far.
I assume the person is using wp multisite, just like we are, but am not sure. So, looking at his source code I wasn’t able to find out. I would like to know if there is any way to know which and how many blogs are hosted in a specific multisite domain.

  • By default, WordPress identifies itself in the HTML header, e.g. <meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 3.3.1″ />.

    Hi dgilmour,
ahm, what exactly are you saying?
Are you talking about the blog version? I know that already.
I need to know the cuantity of blogs hostet at the main wp multisite install

You didn’t say you knew that they were using WordPress, let alone version, so I was telling you how you could do that as a first step.

    Can’t.

The only way is to be able to log in and look from the admin side.
