Multisite Backup Tool?

Is there a plugin or tool for backing up or mirroring a multisite installation.

I’m trying to create a development area where I can test plugins,etc without affecting production and also setup a DR system but I can’t find any sort of automated tool or plugin to keep the environments in sync.

Does such a tool exist – for multisite?
