Multisite

Hi!
I am looking to get feedback and to see if a multisite is a good option in my case.

We have a Destination Wedding site. We also create personal sites for our wedding couples. Right now, we are using a fresh install on subdomains to create them. I am wondering if switching to Multi-Site would be a better option? Also, should we use subdomain or subdirectory?
