• I have a web server running mySQL and I created the first database for my site, and it worked, I can browse the page fine. However, when I created a second database for a seperate part of my site and browse to the directory I installed WP in, nothing comes up, where as the first one does. Here are two links, one working, and one not.

    Thanks.

  • Did you run the install in the dir that’s not working?

Did you add different table prefixes in the wp-config file for the two installations?

Here are the steps I took to Install each:

    1. Uploaded all WP Files into their own directories (/WP/ and /Photos/)
    2. Created 2 seperate databases, one named WordPress and one named Photos.
    3. edited each wp-config file to reflect the settings mentioned above, so I have two seperate instances of WP and 2 seperate databases.
    4. I ran the install file for each seperate instance.

    Here’s more information:

I can write and edit posts to each blog instance, and pull data into my main page https://www.genetorres.com (the data is in the center iframe and the top left iframe) The data appears, I just can’t see the blogs if i go to the blog itself.

Check the theme files – esp for any with a file size of 0 ?
