• I have two domains in one GoDaddy hosting plan. I have tested both of them and they are properly pointing to the correct subdirectory. One of the domains is working properly, connecting to the database as expected. The other one is not, I created the database with a different user and password, but when attempting to access the site it redirects to the /wp-login.php of the other site. It seems to be like the GoDaddy MySql server is just connecting to one of the databases and the other one is ignored… I have checked everything I can image, any ideas anyone would be pretty apreciated.

  • Did you use two fresh (blank) databases, or did you copy one database to the second site?

If you copied the database to the second site you’ll find that it will still contain all of the URL settings from the original site, so that will need to be changed, and then the second site will work correctly.

Yes, two blank installations, separated credentials for each.

    Then there’s two possibilities.

First… You’ve used the same database credentials for both sites.

Second… You’ve set the same URL for both sites.
