multiple wp database backups on one run backup

on 3/5 c:03 pm db backup 1.5 mib
on 3/8 optimized db and removed all transients then backed up db 1:57 pm at 1.2 mib
on 3/12 3:59 pm db backup at 2.4 mib
on 3/16 3:52 pm db backup at 6.9 mib
on 3/17 restored db from 3/8, optimized and removed all transients then backed up the db and got two db backups as follows
1:17 pm 1.4 mib
1:17 pm 1:8 mibI have made no posts or changes to this site for ove r4 months other than to keep wordpress, themes and plugins current.
I have talked to you before about this issue of multiple db backups occurring at the same time. There is no reason for these strange increases in the size of the backups. I have scanned with wordfence twice on 3:17 and it found no problems. None of my other security plugins indicate any issues. I suspect the transients are a problem with wordpress and have long thought they are security problem but can’t prove it. Thoughts about issues with your plugin first please.
