• What is best practice for setting up multiple wordpress sites? Should one use the same database or is it better to use multiple databases? Will it causes conflicts down the road by using the same database?

I understand multiple wordpress installs can be done with different table prefixes (using WAMP with phpmyadmin at the moment). Is it wiser to keep them separate databases when it comes time to sync them onto a server? I don’t have access to server just yet but I wanted to get a few different sites going this weekend and I don’t want to botch my databases or create any conflicts. I think we will be hosting these on GoDaddy.

Sorry if I’m completely off base here- I’m quite new to all this.

Another question- which folder directories are pertinent for back up of wordpress? The /wwww directory and anything else? Anything in the PHP directory?
